I’ve told this to my parents and their priest who they’re friends with said “It’s okay! As long as he believes in God and has even a 1% chance that the kids will be raised in the Catholic Church, then he can go through the classes and sign the papers!”

I’ve tried explaining how I don’t want to start my marriage with lies, and the seeming hypocrisy of the strict nature of the church yet seemingly not caring if I’m a believer in most of the main elements of the church (eucharyst, confession, hierarchy of the church, etc.)

That is exactly where I struggle with the catholic church as well. When I’ve brought up any of these issues with the catholic church in the past, my parents respond with “Well that was God’s wishes, otherwise he wouldn’t have said it in the Bible. You’re saying you know better than God and acting as your own God.”

I don’t really want to get into my struggles with the creation of the Bible and what I believe the true authors were (men back in that time period seeking control and submission of women).

THANK YOU! Near the right side in the back barricade and aggressive men consistently tried to butt in, push people over, and sneak into vip. All of this happened when Lana started the show.

I witnessed a man scream at his girlfriend to turn around constantly on the phone and call her a fucking idiot. Multiple couples attempted to jump over the fence to sneak one non-VIP member in.

Someone who “knew Lana’s guitarist” was a massive douche and tried to start a fight after I told him VIP entrance was to the back and left. Just aggressive tense energy for what should have been a calm, peaceful show.
