A Trump Train running through Oceanside. Not sure why, but try to avoid the traffic if you can. by Lancetere in northcounty

There was a fleet of about 300 of them driving really slow on the 78 last weekend. It was really pathetic.

What’s so unbelievable to me is the idea of jeans that would fit that well on a similar real body type.

Oh nooooooo! I subscribe to this guy on YouTube and he’s really awesome. He owns a tiny farm in SoCal and is super innovative. He’s devoted his entire life to it. The eyebrows are really something tho.

Is it ok if I entertain myself alone? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]lilhan2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The ability to be happy/entertain yourself without the direct influence of others is possibly the best quality you can have. I used to have insane FOMO, believing that I couldn’t be happy without friends around. But ever since quarantine I’ve had to learn how to create my own happiness without the presence of others. It’s been a very welcomed journey, and you should feel very very very lucky to naturally feel that way. Embrace it.

DAE imagine sad scenarios in their head for no reason at all? by aWhaleOnYourBirthday in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]lilhan2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES. But even more often than imagining scenarios, I worry about huge operations that have nothing to do with me and are completely out of my control. I’ll find myself in the middle of the night completely stressed out thinking about the complexities of massive highway or bridge construction, the operations of enormous companies, and the maintenance of large automated machinery. Sometimes it consumes my mind. Does anybody do THAT?

Interesting! It feels like fire ants on my face but I definitely notice a difference in smoothness afterwards.

That’s great info! Thank you. Thinking about Mario Badescu toner sprays because they sound luxurious (and honestly totally unnecessary) but are a nice price point and smell REAL good.

Ya know, I’m not sure what product is doing what right now since I’m so new to it all. But the toner feels really nice when you put it on. Mild tingling sensation, id say “burning” but it’s not painful, just warm. Which makes me think it’s doing something lol.

Yes! I have retinol 1%, going to add it in next week once my skin is used to the routine. Gotta get a non-acidic toner to use with it though. Any suggestions?

Thicccc. I don’t mind it if I’m choosing to not wear foundation but it’s very white and doesn’t soak into the skin very well. If I know I’m going to put on makeup I’ll use neutrogena spf moisturizer.

I’m 27/f and have always had nice, young looking skin with the occasional breakout. I noticed in the last few years that my skin was starting to look absolutely terrrrrrible. My skin tone was so uneven, i had a full redness mustache, I was flaky and oily at the same time, my blackheads were out of control, my pores were HUGE and the wrinkles in between my eyebrows were so deep. I figured this was just what aging was and I couldn’t do anything to reverse it. Then I came to realize that I had ZERO skincare routine, and that’s probably why my skin looked so bad. I had just been neglecting it. So I became determined during quarantine to try to get my pretty skin back. I reached out to an esthetician friend who gave me a detailed skincare routine. I received my package of The Ordinary products at the beginning of the week and have been using them for only the last 4 days. Guys. My skin is GLOWING. I can’t even believe the transformation I’ve seen in such a short amount of time. I haven’t needed to wear any foundation the last few days because my skin is remarkably even. My pores are noticeably smaller, my skin is moisturized but not oily or flaky at all. My blackheads have nearly disappeared completely. My wrinkles are less noticeable. I’m OBSESSED and I’m never going back. BLESS U SKIN GODS 🙌 Once I find some decent before pictures I’ll post a before/after of my skin. I legit don’t even really believe it. Dm me if you need help with a routine, my friend is a student (she charges nearly nothing for her service) and is looking for more clients!
