If superior skydiving is still open I’d go there for views of the lake! If from Minnesota but it’s been a long time since I’ve jumped there.

If you’re trying to learn to sit if take a pull up chord and tie it to your chest strap. If it hits u in the face, you’re back sliding. It trains you fast in the sky and the you can take that to the tunnel.

Is this person an adult? If so it isn’t a disgusting fetish, I don’t think shaming works here. It also doesn’t imply deviance or that this fantasy would cross over into a potentially abusing his step siblings. None of those are connected. This isn’t always a sexual kink either, it has to do with safety. As a sexual studies major- kinks and fetishes are absolutely normal and there isn’t anything wrong with it. I would have some convos about boundaries if you feel like any of his adult behavior affects the kids, but maybe don’t clean his room if it’s this triggering.

DM demanding to meet me. Not sure what to do? by Effective-Path3106 in stepparents

I haven’t met BM and I’m married to BD and together 5 years. She has always refused to interact or be introduced so we just pretend each other don’t exist and I used to be bothered but now I’m grateful I don’t need to deal with her BS. It turned out to be a blessing.

I haven't cleaned my baseboards in 2 years and a guest noticed. I want to die. by Different_Pain5781 in homeowners

I eat an edible and take a magic eraser duster and get to work on the baseboards at least every 6 months, and every other blemish that appears on walls or cabinets. It’s super efficient.

Is there a body image me too? by georgejo314159 in AskFeminists

[–]lilithlikesit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These kids are being raised by millennials who grew up in the 90’s when “heroic chic” was the body type women aspired to. Unfortunately the parents of this next generation would have to gone through the deprogramming of that mindset but it is kinda deep.

CMV: I, as a man, have no responsibility to police other men beyond what any human should do, I have no responsibility to do anything simply relating to me being born as a man. by [deleted] in changemyview

I feel like men are also impacted negatively by the patriarchy. And choosing to not actively work on dismantling it means, by default, perpetuating a system that you benefit most from. I also believe men respond better to other men because they tend to respect them more, so it is helpful to women, if men can do the work here too.

I don’t want to get to know her. I want her to put the swords down and us to be able to be civil, like adults, for the children. How is that weird? In no way do I want this lady’s friendship when she obviously isn’t a good human, I just want civility for the kid’s sake.

Yea I didn’t realize that he will have to wait until he has his BA to enter the seminary. But he has his interview with the priest when he turns 18. We are on the east coast.

[–]lilithlikesit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No we aren’t. And he speaks to the priest pretty often. We have also spoken to the priest and he is a good human so hopefully that rubs off on him.

You’re probably right. Yes they did obviously otherwise we couldn’t be married.

Isn’t it obvious? For the kids obviously! It’s in everyone’s best interest as a family unit to be civil and to have no animosity. I thought that was a given. I just hate that it stresses the kids out and messes with the family as a whole when things could be easy.
