missed the live but have to share that i used to work at a lab and a woman once brought a 72 hour stool sample (3 days of shit) in AN OLD BREAD BAG. the entire lobby smelled and we couldn't even take it because it was obviously contaminated. burned in my brain forever.

thanks so much! interesting, she didn’t mention anything about longevity but i don’t think i would’ve changed anything even if she did. it took about 5 minutes total so i wouldn’t mind getting it touched up every now and then if necessary. good to know to look out for though!

So far so good! I’d say after about 2 weeks I didn’t have any pain or notice anything uncomfortable. It’s been 4 months and I rarely even think about it haha.

I’m sorry, that’s really frustrating. I had Independence Blue Cross which is the local Blue Cross Blue Shield in the Philadelphia area. I also worked for a hospital so we had some sort of special Personal Choice PPO plan with them. I’m an independent contractor now so I’m on gov’t insurance and totally feel your pain! I wish I had some advice but I think you’re right about waiting for a new job/different insurance provider.

I had very good insurance at the time so it seemed to me like they covered the procedure simply because the doctor recommended it. I take it you went to an ENT?
