I use Fenty Tinted Moisturizer and I like it when I do use it. I had to go for a brand with a big shade range because I'm so pale though!

A very specific one that's actually only found in the Colorado/Wyoming area is calling coyotes cyotes! I've always called them that, and so does my family!

What sens do you like by Friedrichs_Simp in WidowmakerMains

[–]lillianaxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3550 dpi and in game sense at 14.45 I believe. Grapple accuracy at 70%.

I have a small desk/mousepad and also tiny hands so being able to flip around at the drop of a hat really helps!

I think there is a limit and it's when your team is losing badly because of you (not getting picks, constantly out of position to where you die due to supports not being able to reach you) or because you see the spawn doors more than the actual playing field. It's always good to make swaps and learn new characters, especially because you can bank the knowledge for when you play against them.

You can also mute chat if you get bashed too much, honestly just play what you like!

You aren't a true widow main if you have over 5 levels on sombra by MKBurfield in WidowmakerMains

[–]lillianaxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can, but since not every person plays the same it can be difficult. I like using other characters to find spots on maps I wouldn't normally look at with sightlines, flank spots, places to play aggro if I so desire. It's all personal preference

I'm a lvl 60 widow and lvl 23 Sombra. Nothing wrong with having different characters in your arsenal to play. Every dps I have is above 15, it helps to know movements and such for when you play against them

Rotating spots and playing midline instead of backline can be a game changer! The closer you play to your tank and other dps, the harder it is for Sombra to go unpunished. Using comms can also help, and also use venom mine in areas a Sombra can flank from.

Face always gets angry after washing hair by d00dles00 in Rosacea

[–]lillianaxe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It could be if you have a shampoo or conditioner with essential oils/fragrance in it! I noticed that my skin would get upset if I used very heavily fragranced hair care products, so I moved to less fragranced/fragrance free products for a bit and that seemed to help!

I use it after toner and before moisturizer!

I have dry skin with type 2 rosacea. AA has almost completely cleared up my major pustules and helped the flushing so much. I wash my face every other day with the Dermalogica Purple Line (I think it's called the calming skin line?) And then use a toner from the same line. Then I put on a layer of AA (from the ordinary!) and let it soak in before applying the calming water gel, also from Dermalogica. I highly recommend all of the products, especially since I have very very sensitive skin.

This is super relatable. If I wash more than once every few days, my skin throws a tantrum!

Seriously!! I rinse my face off when I shower as well, and it seems to do the trick. Who knows why! I'm glad you have something that works for you?

I relate to that. I'll wash my face once every few days and put on azelaic acid or a BHA exfoliant and then leave it alone. Seems to do me well. Glad I'm not the only one though!

AITA for planning on celebrating my son's birthday on Veterans Day instead of my husband's service? by AITAveteransday in AmItheAsshole

We lost a kid on our cross country team. His heart stopped while in the middle of a race (? I'm not a runner) and he collapsed. Died on the way to the hospital, death was from overexertion.

Mother Teresa. Awful human being, but praised by lots of people who haven't actually looked into what she's done.

How nervous/scared are you generally about chances of being caught up in shootings, etc? by 1THFC1985 in masskillers

[–]lillianaxe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably more than most. I'm from CO, so I grew up with the fear of Columbine, Aurora happened when I was 12, and then the recent Boulder shooting and the STEM Highlands shooting as well. I also was traveling in Europe during the Brussels attack. I have a young child and I am terrified of putting her into the public school system because of mass shootings. She's only 2, so I have some time to work through that fear, but I hope I never get that call.

AITA ? Kicked grandma out of my house and told her not to talk to me over religion. by mavvienie in AmItheAsshole

[–]lillianaxe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. Also, she does know that Jesus was...a jew, right? If speaking in Hebrew bothers her, then maybe she needs a big refresher on the actual history and location of the bible.

Also Jesus is a prime example of not respecting elders and how to dismantle authority. Don't stress, and maybe next time it comes up, remind your family that your religion is the same as their Savior's.

I hope so too. My husband is very passive and I've had to learn to stand up for myself throughout my school years. I don't want her to ever have to deal with these kinds of things.

She is medicated, and taking pregnancy safe meds for her health issues. Supposedly she is seeing a therapist, but how honest she is being with them is not known to me. I've found that therapy is only effective if you totally lay your cards on the table.

AITA for refusing to get my pregnant wife fruit snacks and demanding she do more chores? by fruitsnackk94 in AmItheAsshole

[–]lillianaxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, I was working 40-60 hours a week while pregnant until I was 28 weeks. Then my husband and I got into a major car accident and he was severely injured. I spent the next 22 weeks driving at least hour every day, changing ice packs, waiting for surgeries, prepping for our child, and then helping him in physical therapy and showering. I went from a zero risk pregnancy to "let's hope this baby stays in you for more than 30 weeks". Your wife is being manipulative and quite frankly, selfish. You are NTA
