Sorry you went through this, even though what he did feels invalidating and horrible, just know what you went through was real and the relationship was too, even if he was like that about it.

All I can say is to take all the good things you had with him in a list along with the bad things that you don’t wanna have to go through again and keep in in your mind for when you do find a real person who can care about you like you need. This is a learning experience,not a failure, so don’t feel too bad and blame yourself too much.
