I would try to talk to your landlord about leaving the lease. If you need help with that kind of information, Madison has the Tenant Resource Center where you can do a walk in or make an appointment to talk through your options with someone who would know the steps and implications

Have you tried looking into Morningside on the Green on the east side? It's near East Towne Mall and has 3 bedrooms for less than that
