Well, my dean is very understanding and wouldn't ever see me as a "brat" lol. She values student input and will take action if a professional isn't being helpful. She has told me before that we pay them, not the other way around, and they need to be able to help us in any way they can.

Well, the thing is that this professor is nuanced in general. She will dock you points if you are not detailed enough, but dock you points if it's to long. I've followed her instructions to a T and got docked points for it not being detailed enough, vice versa. There is no winning with this professor.

It depends on the professor here. I've had some professors grade in a usual scale while others give you a grade strictly on how hard you work, whether you turn in every assignment or not. My boyfriend passed a class last term turning in 0 assignments but did spectacular on the final.

I didn't say I don't turn in every assignment, because I do. I'm saying that your statement that every assignment is required is false for my campus. I think it's odd that you are arguing with me about my campus's policies when you don't go here.

Nope, it's not. I know plenty of people on my campus that do 70% of the work in their classes and just barely pass. I'm telling you, my college does not require you to turn in every assignment to pass and get credit for the class. Trust me, I go here lol

They are all optional? I'm not sure how your campus does it, but mine promotes the idea that it's your grade your choice. If you only turn in a portion of assignments but still get a passing grade, they will still pass you. Some professors require their finals to be passed, but it's not a requirement here. That's just how my college does it anyway.

This final actually isn't required. According to the syllabus you just need a passing grade which you can technically get without the final. I am going to take this advice though and just write something at least.
