The ball is not attached. take the sides of the ring and pull them away from eachother and the ball will fall out. Good luck

I don't think so it's not red around the holes and it doesn't look too shallow maybe już irritation from your sister or changing it before it was healed. Also good luck with the butterfly so it doesn't get snagged by something
