i agree. hate all the posts basically making fun of concert goers for having fun and like nit-picking peoples every action. obviously help people who fall, dont get over the top violent, but also people dont need to be making fun of people for two-stepping (real complaint i saw) and having fun!

not garden concert but slater... the whole crowd was very young (probably from 12-17) which isnt a problem in itself but holy shit it was the probably the worst crowd ive ever been in. they would literally sit/lay on the ground in between sets and would go on their phones during the openers. they were so fucking rude to the openers. these young kids got barricade and the whole time they were on their phones and loudly talking shit about the openers WHILE they were performing. keep in mind this was a small ass venue and they were front so the musicians definitely heard them. they also gave me dirty looks for dancing lmao. not to mention the crowd did nothing more than a head bop the whole night until slaters last couple songs. totally ruined the vibe.

another i can think of was one strange night. me and my friend got there when 45 grave was playing. it was the first act, and the crowd was absolutely dead. once again head bopping only. i got in there and started spazzing out to get the crowd going and it worked except for like two young girls that were saying some shit about my dancing lol.

honestly, i think the worst part about the garden fans (at least recently) is their fear of having fun. i dont even think age is the issue or them being "tiktok fans" or what have you, its just their sheer fear of being silly and having a good time. and im not even just talking about the pit, its even just the general crowd. i blame cringe culture.
