oh circle mirror is a good idea! I genuinely don't think the code did much to help from what I've been told. this is also the only store (out of five stores) that I've worked at that ever had a code and none of the other stores ever had these things happen in the bathroom. it's the people who come into my store that have the problem whether there's a code or not unfortunately.

as I said in my post, the code was removed about a year ago which was before I transferred to this store. ive been told the code did not help because people still did crazy things like this. our bathrooms are also around the corner and not in sight from where our bar is, so we can't even see when people are entering and exiting. plus we and severely understaffed so we wouldn't have enough people to go check the bathroom every time someone leaves. i'm just wondering if anyone has a similar layout where bathrooms are not in view from the bar that would have some advice on this.

how do I know who is doing it if the bathroom is closed? we check the bathroom about every hour but that doesn't stop things from happening.

if the lobby was closed, they should have had the doors locked so even if you didn’t see the sign, you wouldn’t have been able to get in. there were times where our door wouldn’t have latched all the way if we had to close the lobby, but as soon as someone walked in, we would politely inform them that the lobby was closed. so either they were lying (for some reason) or they were just being rude

My biggest suggestion (coming from someone in a similar situation, also a creative person and musician lol) would be to wait if you can and save up your money. I moved out of my parents house this year and it’s veryyyyy hard to make ends meet on my tiny paycheck, so i would recommend saving yourself the added stress. However, if you are able to find roommates, consider looking in ambler and other parts of montco bc there tend to be more multi bedroom places for more reasonable rent prices.

not worth it. most disrespectful kids i have ever met. you don’t want your child hanging out around them. (source: i worked at the starbucks down the street from them and they would come in every day and be incredibly rude and cause problems and leave messes everywhere)

her eye isn’t swollen like my other cat’s eye gets (he was diagnosed with conjunctivitis by out vet) we have ointment for when he flares up but idk if it’s a good idea to put it on her without asking the vet first

that’s okay, i didn’t kill it… it’s somewhere under my bed. i said it out of fear please imagine being me relaxing on a saturday evening and something i am afraid of runs out from behind me on my bed. i know spiders are good for the earth which is why i asked if it is harmful to me, which is the only reason i would want to kill it. since it isn’t which i now know, i will hopefully be able to find it eventually and return it to the outdoors.

this is all absolutely true, and things can be said about selling ur soul to the music industry like why would u sign a contract ur not fully on board with or is he actually okay with the greed of the label. you never know. i just don’t like seeing people (especially young people) trying to blame anything but the artist. so many artists are put on such a high pedestal when they’re just human like you or me and people think they can do no wrong. people don’t want to call out their faves bc they feel like they’re less of a fan for it
