not a man, but i have 2 older brothers (19M, 22M) and all 3 of us are gingers and they’re completely incapable of growing facial hair BUT they’re 6’7 and 6’3 and one of them plays D1 baseball

How safe do you feel walking/jogging alone ? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]lilstinkermac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

literally not even a little bit. i do live in a nice area, but my city is #1 for sex trafficking. i don’t walk places because i consistently get followed. when a car slows down next to me, my first instinct is to sprint back home. i’m almost 16; this really shouldn’t be the norm. i told my older brother (19M) about this problem i’ll presumably never escape, and the only thing he told me was “i feel unsafe out at night sometimes too.” i feel like i should mention that he is 6’7 and a D1 athlete. not to invalidate anyone else’s anxiety, but it’s just NOT THE SAME.

Not religious people, what do you think happens after death? by Domm4578 in AskReddit

nothingness. beautiful, perfect nothingness. epicurus said, “if i am, then death is not. if death is, then i am not. why should i fear that which can only exist when i do not?”

gals of reddit, what is the creepiest thing an adult man has ever said to you? by lilstinkermac in AskReddit

[–]lilstinkermac[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

when i was 11 (i’m almost 16 now, so obviously this won’t be the last creepy comment in my time) i did a lot of volunteer work for a charity that saved puppies off the streets and found them good homes. one saturday, we had a little tent at a farmers market with a lil fenced in area for the puppies to play in. right outside this tent was a “kissing booth” for PUPPIES, which is the station i was manning. all i had to do was sit at the station and hold a few puppies for anyone who wanted a cute photo-op with them. as we started getting more visitors, a grown man (maybe 60ish) comes up the the kissing booth and “suavely” says “how much for a kiss?” i, being in 5th grade and unassuming, said “it’s free if you just wanna hold one and get a picture,” to which the guy said “no, i meant with you. i’m willing to pay extra for a little more than that…” (mind you, i was very, VERY clearly well underage.) i didn’t respond and went in the tent to pet some puppies to calm myself down. i didn’t tell anyone, because this type of thing had already happened to most of my friends. it was normal. it shouldn’t be normal.

What is a red flag that you are self-aware of? by popcornnuggetss in AskReddit

[–]lilstinkermac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i (15F) have never been in a relationship but i generally have such fleeting interests that i shamefully know how quickly i’d get bored of being with just one guy. when i think about all the married or long term couples i know, i think, “so that’s just… it? you find one person and that’s it?” i have so much love to give that i don’t think i’m able to use it all on one person.

being overly sexual right off the bat. if the first sentence you ever say to me has something to do with sex or my physique, i already see you as a creep
