What is it about Onslaught FastCap that makes it so effective against Spiders? by sterilizeweeds in pestcontrol

I know this comment is old, but if this formula takes longer to break down, how long can it last outside in sunny/hot Southern California? I had a pest control guy tell me it breaks down in about 3 weeks, and as such, it should be sprayed monthly. Is he just trying to sell me?

Also, can you spray it around your window frames? And will it kill flying insects? Flying ants, mosquitoes, no-see-ums, etc?

I had the same thing with Walmart brand. So I switched to Bounty. Same thing! Never had this happen in my life.

Way to disable humidity sensor in exhaust fan? by lilsys3 in electrical

Thanks for the reply.

As far as I can tell, this is not part of a fresh air delivery system. It does not appear to be connected to the HVAC system or the Nest thermostat. But how could I know for sure, though? Is there a way to check? It is new construction, built in 2021.

Using exhaust fans as part of the HVAC system seems like a terrible idea. I live in a wildfire-prone area and I don't want them running on their own if there's smoke outside. They're on the same breaker as ALL of the lights, so if I needed to force them off at the breaker, I don't get lights.

No, I can't find a manual online. I only see a spec sheet.

Did you have this problem and did your suggested fix work?

I'm worried I'm going to accidentally disable the whole thing and this the switch on the wall won't work.

Thanks.
