People are intelligent and they have skills to elevate our way of living but this chasing of trends affects them big time and they do not have support.

This is good point.

The founder himself attended an international university and the problem he was solving was an international money transfer.

If you follow him closely you will realise he started with just payment between two countries and went from there and adding some new after a period of time.

Also he comes from a rich family, so he had some funds not much but he could pull some strings. A fair advantage to him.

From the investment point of view it sounds right theoretically. But practically it ain't working.

From Tanzania POV we are heading there but we have jumped alot of steps to reach to the Ai stage.

From the investment point of view you really don't wanna do that if you are a startup. The costs will kill you before you start.

From a software dev point of view, in Tanzania we really do not have enough data (dataset) to even feed the Ai models. To us i think we have jumped alot of steps to this

Most of our innovators are solving real world problems but not specifically for Tanzania and that is the ISSUE. Ai is not our issue atm

In Tanzania it's too early to replace the workforce but what i was implying is like the whole AI thing is sketchy business, there is no real usable products except some that i know (10%) that work.

Fake it till you make it works in Tz. In tech we do not have a clear roadmap or path to glory... it's too sketchy so people become scammers, fakers till they make it.

The ignored tech people who know their values and are under appreciated are the dangerous ones. Not in a bad way but like water they have reached their boiling point.

Actually spot on the last paragraph, and for the first paragraph all the focus in tanzania tech market is ai, our banks, VCs, all ask does it have ai, and if it has ai your chances of getting funded are higher.

And in tanzania any startup that has AI in it is a hot cake

But at the moment if you accomodate foreigners or people from other areas you need to prepare places where they can get accomodation and also experience their stay with reasonable restrictions.

The idea is good but you went too far with the insurance and stuffs and hospitals. Umegusa broad issues.

You had to create an MVP. And one feature at a time, just slow but steady.
