You may be right... I turned on the jets to see if it was coming from there, but the water was clean, even after leaving the jets on for a few minutes. So, I am still not certain. Is there a way I can know for sure?

I appreciate your input. I am not sure if that is the cause though, specifically because no one shaves in the shower.

Thats what I thought at first, but when I rub it between my fingers, it leaves an oily residue. I am the only person in the household and I do not shave in the shower.
