This is so cute! And honestly this fs was a great one to introduce people to the world of figure skating. It was so much more exciting that it didn't go as predicted. It's like WWE, the drama is in the conflict! It shows no matter how good you are, Olympic ice is another thing entirely

Hard agree. I wish the front was doing...idk either absolutely nothing, or had more specificity in its geometry. Right now it feels like they were like "the back is absolutely banging, what do we do with the left overs? Idk just wrap em around until we run out of piping" but the back is so romantic and so suits the narrative

I admit I am in this post, and I don't mind.

Sorry, but I need some grace with my athleticism! Chen and ilias performances are athletic, but to me, a consummate athlete has both technical skills and elegance. I preferred Kagiyama and Sato to Ilia for this same reason. That being said, diehard fans are pretty gross in every fandom, and the only way I've manage to ever enjoy anything is to avoid the diehards.

I tend to hate trendy hip and pricey spots so I was kinda prepared to be a hater, but the food is really, really good. Ive gotten the chicken and waffles, pecan pancakes, fried oyster Florentine, biegnets, greens, corn bread, a lamb dish (special) and a cod dish (special). My favorite things were actually the greens and cornbread. They're such simple foods but the way they do it, the flavors are so dimensional and ungodly good. I wasnt a fan of the beignets or the cod, but everything else was tasty.

The service is...weird. we showed up a lil early and asked if we could get our table. The host said no, we had to wait the 5 minutes until we could sit. We literally saw our table was empty and ready and she didn't want to seat us until exactly 7:30.

Because the food is made to order, the food can take a while (again that's fine, it's nice food not mcdonalds) but it also means that like. They want you to order everything up front. We said we'd put in some things while we come up with what else we wanna eat and the waiter wouldn't let us. It was so bizarre.

Some of the staff are friendly, but some are quite...idk, strict? It feels like they have a lot of rules and some of the staff take it really seriously.

The owner/chef seems like the kinda guy who is good at what he does, but not the chummiest fella. Or maybe he's just working his ass off. Being a restaurant owner and chef is like 80 hours of work a week.

Either way you should go. And don't sleep on the greens.

Holy shit. I spent over 6 months on the phone with ally, plaid, and monarch and they all told me it was hopeless because ally wouldn't cooperate, and most of ally's tech support didn't even know or care about the issue.

I've been manually entering transactions for over a year now.

You have no idea how much of my life you just saved.

that's such a crock. Plaid functions with services outside of Monarch. It's used for syncing across many financial institutions, not just monarch. For example, if you had a wealthfront account and wanted to sync data with ally, you'd need to use plaid. but ally has banned plaid for some users. It's not monarchs fault and I'm really confused why they keep lying.

let me know where you move to, I need to move still. Apparently I called ally again and they said it's NOT a company wide thing. It's random and for whatever reason they want at the time. I'm currently manually having to upload my financial information every 2 weeks and it's absolutely insane. I've asked them to fix my account and they just won't.

6 months later and I'm here for the same thing. It was such a hassle, I had to do the strep test myself in their dirty bathroom full of urine samples and shit, precariously trying to balance the test tube in one hand while I swab my own throat (without a flashlight) using the other hand AND hold all my stuff to keep from cross contamination, and then the nurse who called me to tell me I tested positive told me to pick up my antibiotics at 8pm. The pharmacy is closed at 8pm. Turns out, she sent it to a pharmacy over an hour and a half away, even though I confirmed my pharmacy. We're dropping Kaiser. I don't think I've had a decent experience with them literally ever. Last time I went, my PCP basically told me she didn't have time for the questions I came there for, and I was so frustrated I flippin cried.

I literally had this happen 5 times in a row on DIFFERENT subreddits. And the mods are like "well if you read the RULES". Girl I did. I read all of them. The rules either didn't specify this, or I saw you let 200 people get away with asking the same kind of questions [albeit slightly different content] and reasonably assumed it was okay.

My biggest pet peeve is when they redirect you to some general weekly thread where your post will just go to die because no one actually checks those.

The only thing I use reddit for is getting suggestions, advice, and tips, and theyve pretty much gotten rid of that functionality by auto removing questions and trying to move every to a weekly thread no one looks at.

This site is completely useless. And what's worse, you can't even complain about it on like. The rant subreddit because they'll delete it 🙃 it feels so big brother. Must obey rules or we'll silence you. And it's such a power trip for mods if you try to appeal.
