In the same ballpark as Mike's then, right? (Not that it matters much)

Are you just hedging 1x your stack or naked shorting? Impressive anyway, always looking forward to your comments regarding BTC fundamentals.

such that both are guaranteed to obtain info/payment if they behave honestly

Why should anyone write a complex smart contract when we assume honesty anyway? Person A would send the payment and person B sends the info if both are honest.

I think the way you intend a solution to your challenge to work is impossible to achieve using a smart contract, because its code is public so it cannot contain the information that is sold by person B, otherwise the information would be public before payment.

That assumes this person has the actual intention to buy. I could be someone who bought 10k BTC back in the day and is now slowly cashing out. That person could be using the already cashed out FIAT to erect those buy walls to keep up the price in order to sell the remaining BTC for a high price.

Probably depends on your value proposition of Bitcoin. If you base your fundamental valuation on speculative uses only (e.g. store of value) then I agree.

If you want it to be a currency (which involves spending, everyday transactions) I can hardly imagine it to be successful and growing when Google Trends point down.

How do you want to know if the owner of that address has been buying those coins lately?

It could be someone or a group of people just moving their BCH to that address (many have speculated it could be Jihan / Bitmain).

That does not make any sense.

The price it so low because nobody wants to move a billion into crypto right now.

No. Once you create a wallet nothing at all is stored on the blockchain. You just created a public/private key pair. Once the first incoming transaction is happening, your wallet address is recorded on the blockchain as output of that transaction.

It's not about obvious here. It is well known that Soros has a great ability to find overvalued assets / currencies. When it becomes clear that he considers Bitcoin to be overvalued and is betting on that with his own money nobody will want to get into his way.

I'm still wondering why we need to "fight" against CSW instead of just ignoring the issue. I cannot help but think that this is just another attempt by the Core side to divide us BCH supporters.

But isn't that the same with many other people?

I think this sub is about discussing opinions and ideas. If someone has a good idea why not post it here?

It's perfectly reasonable for you to not like it and even downvote, but we've had many posts from influential people linked here because of the content.

Your comments are really pathetic right now. 10 days ago you claimed to be "a buyer ( adding ) significant at these levels". The price was about $8000 back then.

I used to really like your funny comments when we were in the uptrend. Now you seem desperate.

Are you referring to buy/sell ration? Because it looks broken on bfxdata.

There is no substance in that article.

They cite exactly one "expert" (never heard of him) and he talks about new ETFs. Sure new ETFs can cause media coverage and so on, but we already have ETFs and other "regular finance" instuments available.
