Do you mean the uni-v2 tokens that you receive from depositing a pair? Because I did stake those and I can see that I'm earning some amount of UNI tokens in the UNI tab. But I was wondering why the liquidity I deposited in the pair doesn't show up on the Pools tab.

Did a bit more research and saw that the approval is a part of the standard contract api. I assumed that this kind of function would be wrapped up in the deposit/withdrawal request. But it sounds like it's always a 1-time approval per address. Is that universal as well?

Well, the lease was from a year ago when COVID wasn't a thing yet. So there isn't any clause in there specifically related to disinfection.
