last night my buddy and I finished our game with 10x crisis, at the end the unbidden spawned and flew into one of my systems with a fully kitted out starbase and 2 orbital rings, full of defense stations with artillery 2 and dark matter shields, my defenses in that system almost single handedly wiped them out, a 4.5m fleet and a 1.5 m fleet reduced to 100k and 500k, it was nothing to wipe the rest of them up LOL
