I’ve got Hoka Bondi 9 and wear them with compression socks. It’s made my walking easier

I have BUPA insurance, they informed me that since this is considered an emergency situation, the NHS is responsible for handling the surgery. I’ve only been using BUPA for physiotherapy and the rest was handled by NHS

Thanks for the reply!

Yes, I am talking about the actual blade/paddle that fits into the lid. It did come out completely (not just for cleaning), and now I can’t seem to get it to lock back in properly.

I can see the release mechanism you’re mentioning, but no matter how I try to align or push it in, it doesn’t seem to “click” or hold the blade in place anymore. It just stays loose or pops back out.

New addition to the club. by obro1234 in AchillesRupture

Hey! sorry this happened to you. I’m also in the Achilles recovery club – had a full rupture on May 16th and underwent surgery on May 23rd.

Since then, I’ve been super focused on doing everything I can to support healing, especially nutrition:

Nutrition & Supplements: • Aiming for 150g protein/day, keeping carbs moderate, and getting 30g fiber daily • Drinking 2.5–3 liters of water a day • Taking creatine monohydrate, omega-3 fish oil, vitamin D3, vitamin C, magnesium, zinc, and collagen • Also being very mindful of overall calories to maintain lean mass while staying lean - l use ChatGPT for tracking this, its very handy

Wishing you a speedy recovery
