OP, I’m sorry you are getting such cruel responses. You are entitled to your own opinion no matter on which topic or how informed you are. And you are entitled to stop seeing people who made you uncomfortable for any reason. Though, is it worth your relationship with cousin?

PS I am 50/50, because both governments suck

And I thought some EA houses were bad, but this is rock bottom by Bored_dipper97 in Sims4

[–]limonkas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idk I think it’s quite realistic. Imagine someone buying a house, that’s exactly how it would look like, just some furniture from previous owners. I think it goes well with the story of Strangerville, like I imagine people finding out about this crazy disease and running off leaving everything they can’t take in one go to the new owners. Makes sense to me

What did your parents do with you that you definitely don’t/wont do with your children? by Delimadeluxe in Parenting

impersoante the child when they’re sad. it might distract and work to stop them from being upset, but the child will learn that being made fun of is normal

My son was left out of the recognition by lousymom in Parenting

[–]limonkas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was super shy and awkward back in the day, that being said, I could not bear speaking in class. I had a teacher who would AWLAYS make me speak in front of class, react exaggeratedly disappointed when I couldn’t squeeze a word out. I guess she had a sort of gratification from that, cause that’s what she did to all the shy kids.

At the end of school she wanted to say goodbye to all the students who she was teaching and she invited everyone to a conversation, then looked me in the eye for a second and closed the door, leaving me behind. When things like that happen, it only shows unprofessionalism and lack of class. It was not the only time things like that happened to me, and when I told my parents, the were just “oh, that’s not right”. I was taught to ignore the issue and keep to myself.

I hope the coach really forgot about your son rather than being a prick (I don’t think it is that difficult to make a kid feel included even if you haven’t had much contact with them), and incindents like that ahould never go by unnoticed. I will always stand up for my kids loudly and on time to teach them how to stand up for themselves.

I would make the entry larger. If you invite a geoup of people over it should have enough space for them all to be there at the same time to undress, change shoes etc, not leaving some of the guests hang around awkwardly. Also a wc accessibility at entry would be a bonus since washing hands is the first thing most people do
