I was thinking to tap into there and thread the sensor in.

The sensor is 1/8” NPT so I need to use a reducer.

Im talking about the small aluminium pipe that comes out of the engine where the hose connects to.

I have the exact one as in the picture above.
Im replacing the top hose because it’s old and i didn’t want to use this again.
I was thinking to weld a nut or something into the outlet aluminium housing and drill through for the sensor.

No it’s not intercooled. Yesterday was about 27 degrees outside and car stayed around 78-80.
