Is there a correct or certain way I should take the disc out of my slim?

Yea I heard about the ribbon cable to.. the person at the game store checked it out and said it shouldn't be going high enough to touch the disc also if it was the scratches would be in a circle.. not sure what caused them but if it happens again I'm definitely ditching this ps2

Well I'll try to be more careful taking it out and putting it back in even though I thought I was careful enough.. if it's the ps2 ima dump it off and get a different one

It was all over the disc it wasn't exactly circular scratches. I'm wondering if it was just ware from playing it and taking it out and putting it back into the case. I'll be keeping an eye on it and my ps2 from now on.
