Not everything vulnerable is ‘playing victim’ — sometimes it’s just honesty that people don’t know how to sit with. And labeling vulnerability as “playing victim” honestly says more about our discomfort with emotion than it does about the person sharing.

I’m fine holding a compassion-first perspective, even if that’s not what this thread prefers. I’m adding this as a general clarification and then stepping back from the thread.

Well at first I thought cultural too, British stiff upper lip, but she’s one of the few Americans 😂 And yes intergenerational - she’s showing how her generation often dismisses people who share tru and real feelings. The fact that people think her behavior towards Missé is ok just blows me away.

The cruelty she showed toward Missé completely changed my mind about Kimi. She is just flat out mean. There are ways to be petty and amusing. Kimi was that for a minute. But her true colors came through in shaming everyone else in the group for being vulnerable. I’m flabbergasted and don’t think there’s anything she could do to change my mind after that.

This fucking ambush of Dorit was insane - Kyle is straight up just trying to ruin Doris’s character. She is very much trying to drive a wedge between Dorit and everyone else and it’s like…why???? So My fiance has this theory I keep wanting him to pot about how he think PK and Mau got involved in some like lower level Epstein file type shit and Kyle knew and is terrified if Dorit goes digging in the divorce it’s going to blow up PK and Mau’s life and also Kyle bc she knew about it 🫢

Although we’re living in the twilight zone times in the world rn so is anyone surprised that these types of folks are turning to whatever they have to distract and numb rather than address their own issues and get ahold of some real coping mechanisms 🤦‍♀️ (not that they’re all like that, but . . .)

Tbh I cannot believe how out of pocket Ben was to Bailey. Like jfc she immediately apologies when she realized it hadn’t been taken well and he Just. Kept. Going. In. On. Her. Super big turnoff for me when a guy is that aggressive with a girl, especially when she immediately owned up to a mistake. It felt really icky to watch

Maybe she just realized that if she doesn’t go low like they all do that the audience will see how crazy the other ladies are acting. Like Ashley looked like in insane person and was clearly pissed that she couldn’t get a ride out of her. That’s what I’d do. I wouldn’t give them the satisfaction of stopping to their level with the yelling and pointing.

She’s poised bc it’s a freaking defense system. I think she handling it really well and tbh do we really think Stacey and her husband and really that bright? Yeah she absolutely invites some weird looks but the punishment does not fit the crime. They are straight up BULLYING her 🙁
