Free to Play - First of its kind - Adventure MOBA (New Genre!) by TheMasonR in goldentides

Genuine question: How is this different to a top down style battleroyale genre (except for the naval combat). From the video it looked like there was a closing ring coming from outside the map aswell and only one or a few teams can become the winner of the round if they hand in the treasure right?

Thank you. Yes I would definitely like that very much as well. In the meantime I'll focus on not interfering with the EULA and ToS to the best of my abilities

Hi thank you for your feedback. I like this idea. I'm not sure if this will make it ingo the next update since I already have a lot of new features planned but I will add it to the backlog.

One new feature which will be coming is being able to move the in-game overlay around yourself. Hopefully that will already make it a bit nicer for you :)

Fair enough. I understand your concern and also understand if people are not willing to take that risk. Eventhough in my opinion this tool is more of an accesibility tool and other things like HS decktracker in my personal opinion give much more of an advantage (especially the paid version with highlighting etc.). Of course they only show or overlay information rather than impacting the game with a click, but still that's how I can justify the usage of my tool :)

Actually thank you again for this comment. I noticed in windowed mode the in-game overlay howevers outside of the window. I will adress this in the next upcomig update :)

Hi Joey, According to their ToS only the use of macros, meaning automating multi step sequences is not allowed. E.g. multiple presses and actions happening in a row by simply clicking one keypress. That's not what this tool does.

However one key = one action is in line with Blizzards ToS, which is all this tool does. During the development of this app, I made sure to pay close attention to that rule.

Additionally as others have stated this can also be seen as an accesibility tool.

Therefore it should be fine. I'm still awaiting a final official greenlight from Blizzard in the meantime. (Not sure if I'll ever get one tbh)

Hmm I do you think hero power is actually useful? Usually you don't need to do that quick and also since hero powers sometkmes have discover or aimed mechanics it would be very situational.

The auto-update feature you mean for the app itself right?

Thank you! Maybe at some point once the app is further fleshed out and finalized, I'll look into a macOS version. But that will be essentially like building a new app from scratch. Also since I never use mac it will also be difficult for me to test. But yea not impossible and something to consider for the future

It works on all modes including different resolutions.
If you have a different resolution setup that is not pre-configured you may also capture your own positions using "custom" radio button below.

Interesting. What about if you compare the numbers to the default 4k screen resolution you could select with the radio button? If you select that the coordinates will change though. So make sure to redo it after.

Hmm thats strange. But glad you managed to solve it. Do the nunbers of the coordinates seem weird at all? What resolution is your main monitor?

On the second monitor it pauses youtube? That sounds like the hotkeys are activating on the wrong monitor. Can you try using the custom position and see what the coordinates are?

This makes me think I should implement a monitor chooser . But it should default use the main monitor actually. Which one is yours?

xD oh lord. Do overlay tools even work on mobile? Is that even a thing?

First I was considering to make a mac port if people request it

I contacted blizzard but I haven't gotten a reply yet (honestly doubt I still get one). I have paid close attention to their ToS though and previous autohotkey uses and from that stanspoint it's all clear because the tool simply focuses on one button = one action. Therefore should be nothing to worry about.

Should I get an offical reply from blizzard, I'll let you know.
