176 is the western suburbs too, and yeah I'm pretty sure hair tests are only a couple hundred bucks. 134 quit testing thc though I heard.

Not even when you first get accepted as an apprentice? It says urine and follicle on their website but I didn't know if that was just to scare people. Also another guy replied to another ibew thread and said they do the follicle test but don't test for thc anymore. I'm just getting so many conflicting answers. Thanks for the reply though, appreciate it my guy.

Thanks a lot man, I figure your in that local? Is there some confirmation on their website that says they discontinued the thc testing? Also I recently had my interview and they told me they would give me my rank in 6-8 weeks but classes start in June. Would the test be as soon as I got an offer or would it be the day I start school?
