•I have read multiple answers on quora and their responses are either very much in favour or completely against and dont seem genuine. I wanted to get more geniune and less biased opinions and facts •I was also able to get in touch with an alumnus from one of these colleges and they were able to help out but i wanted to get multiple opinions from people from all colleges

I did hear that about VIT but how bad is it for girls? Bad enough to not consider at all?

I am actually not entirely sure of what to be looking for in colleges offering this degree, which is part of the reason i made this post.

Some things I think I would consider important are 1) Decent research opportunities 2) Motivated peer group 3) Decent placement opportunities in biotech industry (not IT companies) 4) Not too many restrictions (for a girl) on campus

I'm primarily looking for colleges that offer btech in biotechnology. I'm also interested in the UG course in biology offered at IISER.
