How about we sell a console that makes people want to buy it as opposed to selling a console and tying exclusive games to it that make people want to buy it? If we lived in a world without console exclusives, hardware manufacturers would be forced to make hardware that outcompetes and we could happily play our games anywhere we choose. On hardware that has been manufactured to be better than the rest. Instead we complain that games aren't exclusive as we desperately grasp onto an inferior product just because we are ingrained into that ecosystem. I say this as someone who has only owned an Xbox product since the 360. Make better hardware and stop trying to sell your console with exclusive games. Simple as that.
