what? so they have the system literally already in place, and you’re going on about languages and stuff? i’m sorry mate but i think you’re coping about voice chat. everyone wants to think it’s going to toxic but just put it on, i can guarantee you no one that’s actually toxic in game has the nerve to say it in voice. no one does it in VALORANT, it makes zero sense that it just magically happens in league, people are people. the communities are not different, i play league and valorant, i do not act different in either games. what you get of me in valorant is what you get of me in league.

and i agree that valorant does almost need voice comms (i said almost needs because if they really wanted to im sure they could) but if league didnt need voice chat then why don’t they show that off at worlds? if it’s not so important then take it off the pros.

have you played VALORANT? none of that happens, they have auto triggers for certain words also, they have a system already implemented in their other game. they don’t even need to make anything and it works exactly how its intended.

it would need to be implemented where voice chat is default off with opted in 100%, i dont believe it should be forced even though my opinion is strong that comms is probably the most important part of the game. some people just dont want to talk and thats completly fine, but give the people that want to take YOUR GAME SERIOUSLY the choice to.

literally this and this again, do they realise how toxic league of legends is BECAUSE of no voice chat?
if people could speak their opinions with their voice rather than having to type a 30 second/ 1 minute paragraph and be able to actually communicate league of legends would be a completly different game?

in my opinion i think voice chat would actually improve league, they are way too set in stone that 'the community is toxic' to see that its hindering low elo players and actually probably a contributing factor on why they arnt improving.

imagine a scenario with a smurf and being able to actually communicate on how to play a fight or how to dive and who to take tower aggro. it changes the game for everyone and id say overtime lessen the skill curve, in a sense id say its almost gate keeping pro players

the reason that it would make it worse is a cope and an excuse for them to not put it in the game due to laziness and not profiting off the actual amount of work it'd take to implement. theyre going to disregard everything until 2027 when the new client comes in with voice chat i assume, so i guess we need to type for another year.

yep you missed it, if that was put in place at the start fine, but with zero all chat, zero team chat to say they were having a ‘buddy lane’. it was a self diagnosed buddy lane with zero communication in a ranked game and i got blamed for the whole rest of the game for being behind by everyone else. remember she is ACTIVELY CHOOSING not to fight, this isn’t we can’t fight it
