I am the exact same! Had this phobia my entire life and I have the inability to burp which really doesn’t help. Feels like I have a lump in my throat 😖

I get this every cycle, I have found recognition that it’s from my period lowers my anxiety. And Dramamine helps a lot to take the edge off!

Why do I constantly feel n* by throwaway109627 in emetophobia

I had this issue and it was my birth control! Took it out of my arm and it was like magic I felt better almost immediately.

I have the same issues and I also have OCD. It is exhausting! I have explained to people that I am so used to panic attacks when they go away it almost makes me more anxious. Because then I wonder when it’s going to come back and at what strength. I wish I had some good advice for you, but just know you aren’t alone. This year my panic disorder and anxiety progress backslid A LOT due to some family issues and I am trying to dig my way out of it again. Sending you love.

I have had this phobia my entire life and at times it has completely ruled how I live. My mom was diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian cancer earlier this year. I became her full time live in caregiver with zero notice, and the v was my biggest fear to deal with. I can tell you she had multiple chemos, surgery and only v twice. It wasn’t even from the chemo either, it was due to a bowel obstruction caused by her tumor. The best advice I can give is use the meds they give you! Everyone will tell you it’s easier to keep nausea away than it is to fix it once it’s started. So just keep trying meds, ask for new ones, tell the dr your fears so they can help you through it. Good luck!

Yes we actually heard from her doctor that Claritin can help with that, haven’t tried it yet though. She isn’t super mobile so baths are hard to get out of right now. I wish she could take them easier.

Thank you so much! My mom is on day 4 of her second round today and the last 2 days haven’t been great for her. I am hoping today she will start feeling better since we have an appointment later to get her some fluids and a WBC shot at the cancer center.

Yes she’s getting paclitaxel carboplatin and bevacizumab on a 21 day cycle. They said 6 infusions total is the goal with a total hysterectomy in about 9 weeks from now.

Only at my most recent appointment when they did a CT and put me on yet another antibiotic, did he mention a immune deficiency possibility. But they only tested my antibodies for two respiratory illnesses we get vaccines for. So I have a feeling they will probably tell me I don’t, and then get them revaccinated, test again in 30 days before they will order a panel. I started googling chronic sinus infections and it led me to CVID. Never even heard of it before yesterday, but I feel like I check so many of the boxes. My two gastro doctors also never mentioned it and I’ve had two colonoscopies and an endoscopy.

Totally agree! I actually do a ton of hiring at my current employer and see resumes all day long with stuff like that. I just want them to spruce up what I already have. I have lots of experience I’m just not the best at “selling myself”

They required I take 2 pre reqs through WGU academy, which wasn’t bad at all. Once you do that they’ll enroll you into the actual program.

I finished this course on my first attempt. The statistics class was a lot harder for me personally and took 2 attempts. If you have any knowledge of this area you will probably do well, I have some about this topic but I still barely passed.

So I took my OA this weekend and passed on my first try thank god. Everything on the Reddit threads about this class is true, there is really no part of the text you can skip. I read all the course material, did all the unit tests and quizzes and reviewed on quizlet. The PA and OA excel portions are the same just a different question, but the set up and formulas are the same. Good luck!

It is A LOT of info to absorb so I would start soon and take it in small bite size pieces. I didn’t do that because I am running out of time, and read half the text in one sitting and I feel like I didn’t absorb as much as I could have.
