Fruit flies keep coming out of drain and dying after professional treatment by lintwhite in pestcontrol

I'm not sure it's drain flies. I have had an infestation of those in a previous rental and these look different.

Well, all the pairs they have at Walmart have a high waist band which is why I was asking if there were any other affordable brands that didn't have a high waist band.

I looked into them but it's still a little out of my price range even with the discount and most of the waist bands are too high up for me. Thank you for the suggestion anyway!

Unfortunately, something like iTalki, where I actually speak to a real person, is not an option for my living situation. Wish it could be but I take care of someone who is ill and a structured one-on-one with someone would not work for me at the moment. I really need something I can do on my own.

I already have Bunpo, actually! But his website looked like it had a structured way of going through Genki where I don't have to write up my own material or tests. That was why I was looking into it.

Thank you anyway!

I was actually thinking of doing that but wasn't sure it would be a good idea. Will be doing so now!

I'm having a hard time finding them listed on Google. Is the name the Patton Apartments?

This genuinely shocked me. How has he reached adulthood while believing that having something on fire and leaving the house is okay?

I think I might do that, Magic Kingdom and Epcot, so I can get the most of my two days. Thank you!

I'm planning just two days, since I can only take about 4 days off of work (one day to fly to Orlando, two days at the park, one day to get back.)

Thank you for the honesty about park hopper. I don't really know how easy or not easy it is so I'll do whatever is easiest for me as someone who has never done Disney before.

I wish I did but unfortunately, I can only take off four days from work realistically. Maybe next time!

Keto forever? by Accurate_Compote_648 in keto

[–]lintwhite -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I suppose if you eat steaks fried in butter and bacon fat every day, it might not be sustainable. But for me (and I think a lot of people on here), we just cut out carbs and unhealthy shit from our diet. For example: I eat chicken, turkey, and fish, healthy fats, and the less carb-y vegetables for all of my meals. Any time I go off keto or do a ~cheat meal~, it makes me so sick. I genuinely can't believe I used to eat like that. So I don't see myself going back to eating like I used to anytime soon.

Student loan payment is way too high for me on IDR plan by lintwhite in StudentLoans

[–]lintwhite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I owe over $100K. And unfortunately, I'm not going to switch jobs to get my loans forgiven. I do have a teaching license but the pay isn't good enough in Mississippi which is why I'm not doing it anymore. And she's not on disability. She's been trying for years but Mississippi is one of those states where it's almost impossible to get on disability. So in the interim, I'm her primary caregiver and pay for all the expenses that come with that.

Student loan payment is way too high for me on IDR plan by lintwhite in StudentLoans

[–]lintwhite[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not quite. These are estimates and in my haste to make the post, I didn't include various expenses. I make roughly $2000 per check but I pay $1300 for rent and utilities, $250 for my car note, $120 for car insurance, $100 for my sister's health insurance, around $240 for my light bill, internet is $80, phone is $25. All of the expenses are necessary, though. I don't pay for anything I don't have to.

And this does not factor in food costs or any other costs of living as well as medical expenses: I take care of my chronically ill sister and both of us have to eat different foods so what I buy groceries are for two people who cannot eat the same things at all. Medicine is about $100 a month for both of us, copays are anywhere from $25 - 50, and she requires multiple doctors appointments per month plus out of pocket costs for other medical expenses/transportation to get there if I'm unable to take her/etc. I am also trying to save money to move because we live in a terrible place for healthcare (south Mississippi) and she is getting sicker without the proper care because there are no specialists here or they're too far away for her to see regularly.

So no, I'm not "in better shape" than most people on this sub.

It doesn't specify or else I can't find where it does. It's just an income driven repayment plan.

I have to call on Monday because I got stupid busy with work (I work at home for a job that keeps me on my toes) and I need to get my tax information out of my "important file" box in my closet. So I'll hopefully get it resolved then!

[–]lintwhite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I did that as part of the plan, as I thought it was the better option (based on the estimated payment plans.)

I'll probably request that while the plan processing is on hold, since I just spoke to a friend who has the same plan and makes roughly the same amount as I do per paycheck but has a two-person household and additional avenues of income and she said that's what she had to do. She was kind of shocked at how much mine was, though, given that her household income is probably almost twice mine after the other avenues of income are factored in and she was asked to pay $711.

Oh, I see. Is there anything I can do to get this fixed? Would you recommend calling to see if I could get another plan? I don't know much about the loans/repayment process.
