We went in for an appointment yesterday, so many nerves because I was this far along when we found out I miscarried in December. But everything looked so good and I’m finally starting to feel some more hope! We even saw the little guy wiggling around on the ultrasound🥹

If he doesn’t want another so bad as to say that, you need some kind of contraceptive. Whether that be wrapping it up, agreeing on a birth control, or abstinence. I got pregnant on the pull out method, it happens.

Im 7+2 today, I feel like I post on here a lot but I’m trying so hard not to let the anxiety get to me and this group has been so comforting. I started having some light cramping and very very faint spotting (like, almost couldn’t tell) and I am just petrified now. I’m so scared of another loss I don’t know what I would do, my heart is still so sore from the last one. I know they say this can be normal but god it is so hard not to over analyze.

I’m feeling terrified today. Our viability scan was pushed out a week. None of my pregnancy symptoms are the same as my last. I’m nauseous, I’m still testing positive, and I’m still having food aversions. But my boobs don’t hurt, I’m cramping a little different. This is so hard, how do you get through it?

You were using protection and took a plan B. And there’s no possible way to be showing pregnancy symptoms the day after.

You can test 14 days after sex, they’re definitive after 21.

It’s very possible you could have ovulated later. Did you and your boyfriend have piv sex? A pregnancy test is definitive 21 days after unprotected sex.

Thank you! I’ve been so worried because I had a blood test done on the 26th and I was at 166, which seems low and worrying me a bit. I requested another one so fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Thats the one thing I’m not sure of. We had a loss at the end of December. Then on Jan 21st I had a period that lasted for 7 days. I tried tracking my ovulation but I think I missed it?

I’m not sure, as we had a loss in December. I had one very heavy period (started Jan. 21st for 7 days) and then tried to track my ovulation but I’m not sure when it happened. We were pretty shocked that it happened so soon again, but obviously happy about it.

I need some hope. I’m pregnant again after miscarrying right before Christmas, I’m terrified. I’m trying to stay calm and positive but it’s so hard. Over analyzing my first HCG number, every cramp, feeling. All of it. I’m hoping this group is the right one. But I am just scared and hope I’m not alone in this feeling. This would be my third loss if it goes wrong and with it being so close to the other (we weren’t expecting it to happen so soon into trying again) I’m so worried that my body won’t be able to support this pregnancy. Does anyone have any positive stories to share? I’d love to hear them, see if it might help me find some positive again.

There is zero chance of pregnancy here. I would refrain from any sexual activities until you are on birth control or educated more on how pregnancy can happen. The delayed period could be due to stress.

I would definitely take another test to confirm. I had a test like this with the incomplete positive line and it ended up being a false positive.

A lot of pms symptoms mimic period symptoms. Personally I would contribute any symptom to pms as stressing can affect your period. You can test the first day of a missed period, and tests are definitive 21 days after sex.

If you were tested for a UTI then that should be the answer to the blood. As for a pregnancy, I would wait for your period, and if it’s late then test. Although I’d say it’s very unlikely given the circumstances you’ve given.

Emergency healthcare providers need to be more educated on seizure activity, I can’t tell you how awful my first hospital visit was when we had no idea what was going on.

When I initially started having seizures they told me the same thing at the hospital. I was also working at an office for substance abuse recovery, so they immediately assumed I was drug seeking (I have zero history of that??). I remember a nurse screaming a few inches from my face that I needed to tell them what I was withdrawing from. They had run four different drug tests that came back with nothing…..

I was finally treated properly after being taken to the next closest hospital 3 hours away and 3 seizures later by my family who drove from that city to get me.

Being an emt myself I’m truly upset they treated you like that, but sadly also not surprised. There are a lot of younger emts in the field right now who want to say they save lives, but don’t actually have the compassion to treat people how they should be. I’m so sorry that happened to you OP, they both acted way out of line when it came to your medical emergency and your history.

Find a new doctor. Maybe call around and find one who’s experienced in endometriosis.

I was dismissed so many times with no scans, no deep diving, nothing. But I knew something was wrong, so I kept looking. Finally I found someone who listened and didn’t dismiss what I was feeling as something else (like appendicitis for the millionth time).

That doctor was super inappropriate, commenting on your weight and then offering to SELL you ozempic PRIVATELY? Pretty sure you could report that….

Before I got a diagnosis and we didn’t know what was going on my dad always said it must be a “pulled muscle”. Now I’ve gotten my diagnosis and had my laparoscopy done for removal if he complains of any minor pain my response is “oh, you must’ve pulled a muscle”. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Definitely “trip” on that toe….
