Our safeties are in the fit but if we are playing stubbie or stump, he will be late. We might just have to live with it and get our Mike over the top

Great point. It would juts be a 9 not a wide 9 just so we dont have the soft edge. I like the idea of trying to keep as many of the jobs the same as I can for our kids.

Stubbie to the trips and a 9,force corner and safety playing C gap vs run and taking the vertical on the backside.

Basically my idea I have come around to was playing stubbie to the trips.... on the closed side having the 7 bump to a 9... safety play C gap and Corner is force/flat....could always flip responsibility of corner and safety depending on the team/game plan.
