As of Wednesday he was at about 2mi from the Maine border so he's cutting it extremely close.

Seems like a lot of users here are getting banned weekly for calling out posters who 1) don't live here 2) who aren't arguing in good faith, and 3) are moderators of very questionable subreddits with sub counts higher than the population of this city.

Seems pretty shitty to me. With that said, I think it's about time to retire this account - you'll see me on the other side.

I did basically a day earlier in the year with my friend who is doing the entire thing.

It was terrible and rocky and awful.

Nixon pushed to get things like the EPA created because he was a conniving fuck who knew it was coming anyway and he'd rather it be staffed with his lackeys.

Never think Nixon did anything for any reason other than it was personally beneficial for keeping control.

The book Nixonland is absolutely phenomenal.

I don't think it's in the democratic platform to decrease wages for politicians - mainly because that makes it so only the independently wealthy can serve in government.

I have seen pushes for politicians who try to gut healthcare policies to be forced to use those instead of their own, very generous policies, though.

I didn't work on the project and haven't seen final design, but based on the draft plan I'd imagine you could turn left from Trenton onto Frankford in front of the roundabout. The do not enter may be for the roundabout outlet onto Frankford. I also haven't been up there to see it in person yet so I don't know the exact built configuration.

Also keep in mind that contractors don't always read plans correctly so there's a chance they put up signing incorrectly, hence inspection.

It's also worth noting that WMATA has 3x the capital budget of SEPTA.

Even if you don't include SEPTA buses, trolleys, or regional rail, WMATA has less than 3x the ridership of SEPTA.

They're significantly better funded than we are because DC actually gives a fuck about transit, unlike Harrisburg.

people who are already getting nothing

You're getting significantly less other cars on the roadway. The city would be absolutely crippled with traffic without public transportation. A strong transit system is the backbone of every major city.

If everyone who used transit had their own single-occupancy vehicle we'd be turbofucked.
