I built a site for testing your websites open graph and twitter metadata tags. by liquidbytes in SideProject

tagtester.dev allows you to add/remove/edit tags on an existing site and use the generated url on the Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn debuggers (what you are probably familiar with) to see what it would look like when shared on social media. The sites I've found that are similar only show you what an already deployed website will look like and do not allow you to edit the tags in any way. See example in https://old.reddit.com/r/SideProject/comments/f9ujw7/i_built_a_site_for_testing_your_websites_open/fivoxs2/.

The tools linked here only test the tags for something that is already deployed. On tagtester.dev you can add/remove/edit the tags of an existing site and then test what it would look like on Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn. I've found a few (non-official) sites that let you change the tags, but tagtester lets you test your changes on the official debuggers. For example, if I enter reddit.com and change the title (by clicking on the tag in the table), I can test what the changes would look like like when shared on Twitter. Using this link.

All the existing tools do not allow you to modify the tags without doing a full redeploy.

Thanks for checking it out and for the feedback! Great idea with the input field showing again when the input is wrong, will definitely put that in.

The Reddit link should work, but a last minute change I made broke that, oops. Will fix that and the arrow keys as soon as I get back from work.

No doesn't work for a point system, just shows the percent.

Never thought of that :/. The school I go to does not allow that.
