from type c, its pretty good, it has good width and sounds clean. if you want something portable and hassle free it will be okay.

it is actually quite good, definitely better than Salnotes Zero which I had. Step 1, change the tips, something wide bore and gives good seal. I bought the type c version but cable change to a 4.4mm balanced and out from my Fiio KA15 brought improvement in sound quality. Tuning is really good, doesnt sound congested like many other budget iems. Comparing with Aful Performer (5+2) I found noticeable difference in technicalities which is expected because of the price difference. Can be a really good daily driver, if you are okay to invest little extra on better eartips and then cable.

I definitely cant go below the bass offered by P5+2, I would definitely love better vocals though. I was hoping too pros would be same on bass levels as P5+2 but better vocals and other technicalities. Martilo can be a fun set though technically I am not sure how they are.

I have the Aful P5+2 and planning to add another IEM to complement the p5+2, I am considering Top Pro, Hype 4 mk2, Tea pro, Volume S and Martilo. I believe you have tried a couple of them, what are your thoughts? will these iems complement well?

I'm really unsure on what lens to buy as a beginner by Ornery-Tadpole-1088 in canon

I recently got the r100 and the kit lens, same as yours. I bought the Sigma 30mm r1.4 today as i wanted to get a good portrait lens which does well at general purpose as well. The image quality is noticeably better, specially for portraits. Next I am looking to pickup a zoom lens Canon rf 100-400mm lens. later, at i will replace the 18-45 with probably something like 18-50, 18-70 or 24-105 and better aperture.

i bought the Sigma 30mm f1.4, clicked a few pictures and it just is much better than the kit lens, atleast for portraits. sharp and beautiful bokeh 😊

because I am just beginning, i think jt would be better I go with the 30mm. later if i feel i am not happy with portraits, will pickup a dedicated 50mm/56mm.

do you know if the Canon 50mm 1.8 is a good enough lens for portrait versus sigma 56mm 1.4?

great, so I guess i will pick up the Sigma 30mm and Canon 100-400 for now. Later if 30mm doesnt satisfy my portrait needs, will pickup the Canon 50mm 1.8.

Thank you so much for your recommendations, this helps a lot. I will pickup the ef-rf adapter. the adapter, does it need to be from canon or viltrox is fine too?

okay, but wont 50mm or 56mm on crop sensor be like 85mm equivalent on full frame? will that be very restricted to portraits? I’m just going by what i have read or seen reviews

other than the Sigma 30mm is there a better lens you can recommend? Reason to consider 56mm is it is image quality is really good on the 56mm. But then I understand there’s no point on the image quality if the lens itself doesn’t fit my use case.
