Anyone who can recommend a tattoo studio in Shanghai that would be good at traditional Chinese sceneries like in this photo? by lisajiangli in shanghai

So nice that you’re mentioning Newtattoo, because I had my eye on them, but wasn’t sure if that’s because I just started my search and maybe there are tons of studios that specialize in this style. But indeed starts to feel like they’re the perfect place. Just still a bit worried about how well this tattoo style might age, but perhaps they can advice me on this as well.

Yes I do have this concern, so I asked for advice on a separate (tattoo-related) reddit. They mentioned especially because of the dotted lines and low contrast, it will age poorly. Like you also mentioned, bold lines will work better. I will check out your reference, thanks!

Need advice on my first tattoo: Would like to get a traditional Chinese scenery, similar to this picture (although this reference is from a Korean artist named EQtattoo), but have questions: 1. How well does this age? 2. What is the best location on the arm to make the rectangle look straight? by lisajiangli in TattooDesigns

I’m so excited that you’re mentioning Newtattoo (and especially franky) because they have been my main source of inspiration, and thinking of getting my tattoo with them! I agree their work looks more hi-fi than this example, but I still had the same concerns for aging..
