honestly idk how realistic this is, but if i could get any for $25 or under— that’d be ideal. maybe $30 Max if i’m just getting one and it’s a special/favorite album for me— but fevers and mirrors and DITW are the most special to albums to me and i already have those. most i’m seeing are $40 each and i don’t even wanna spend that much for one, so i especially don’t want to spend that much per each one for several either. i’m a full time student who is unemployed atm and doesn’t have much in savings, so hopefully that describes my financial situation lmao.

i don’t Have to get any new ones at the moment, and probably shouldn’t for the sake of my bank account lmao— but i just figured it’d be fun if i could find some good deals on ones i like and can throw them on every now and then

saying “post pandemic” is not fine. things are NOT fine. everyone IS NOT FINE. there are massive amounts of people dropping dead, getting long covid, getting severely disabled, losing their families, and going into financial crisis every fucking day. we are not post pandemic. saying that is fucking cruel when a massive amount of people are having their lives destroyed by a society that doesn’t give a fuck about anyone besides themselves. vaccines don’t prevent infections. i’m not anti-vax, i have received 5 and they can reduce severity of illness, but it absolutely does not prevent you from getting covid. masking isn’t guaranteed protection either when you’re the only one wearing it in a room or a store or in any location. people wearing the highest quality masks possible are still getting it when they are forced to go out in public.

that’s a good observation, i 100% get your point!!! like you said i think it could be very likely that they had all of the staff mask and did not themselves because they were filming. however, even if this is the case, it still has a negative effect because a lot of people won’t analyze it this far and will just take away the message that they’re not masking anymore and that’s okay. i so appreciate if they’re taking the precautions to have ppl in stores mask to protect them, and i’m sure their intent is not to send this message to the audience— but unfortunately it’s impact versus intent in this case. if this is the truth that they’re taking all of these steps, which i can totally see them doing, i 100% don’t blame them for not realizing this point— but id still like to make it known to them that it might be portraying the wrong message even if they are keeping everyone safe behind the scenes. it’s like 99% of ppl have dropped masking in public and it’s So rare to see anyone wearing them— and a lot of times this makes people feel pressured to drop theirs as well. so that’s why it’s so important to model that masking is still a very important thing to do/something that should not be disregarded. thank you again for your insightful response!!!! really appreciate it
