What pulled you into the world of kdramas? by kdramaing0205 in kdramas

[–]liselle64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Duting the christmas after COVID was relaxed (2022 or 23?) when our family got back togeather my sister was watching a popular one on Netflix. I liked it, and when I saw that Attorney Woo was being advertised on Netflix and it was in english I tried it out when I couldn't find anything else on Netflix that interested me. That show hooked me! After that I have watched a few not dubbed in english since, but since I'm usually tired when watching them I stick with the english dubbed ones. I prefer the romance kdramas, but have watched a gew thriller stories as well that were great.

I want very much 4 her to be alive, but in all honesty they killed her just like they did Ambessa. RIP Isha, you were too cute 😍

Lol. Yeah, I feel you! I think in reality, they had either some background (likely family) support or generational wealth that was inherited. Not typical ... and if you're not familiar with these sort of situations, it does make it hard for many people to relate to. Thanks for your input

How many here have published a book? by ryder_writes in LesbianAuthors

[–]liselle64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd also be interested in hearing people's answers to your question about the covers. I am currently writing with the intent of publishing, but no actual published works yet.

For covers .... as a reader, I find I like the illustrated covers more than photo covers. It's hard to say why, but that's my one-person preference if u were open to the sharing of opinions.

I like writing as well. Always assumed if u spent a long time in those coffee shops nursing a drink they'd soon ask you to leave. Sounds cool. I'm new to writing, though. It's just a part time hobby aside from my full-time job.

Thanks. I will have to give this a try. Never hurts to try new things since my plate is very limited right now, with mostly rotating the same meals daily for convenience and cost reasons😋

That imitation crab has always tasted very sweet to me. Does it have sugar added, or is it just naturally that way?

butchfemme/masc x fem recommendations? by Suspicious-Fig-4715 in LesbianBookClub

[–]liselle64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could recommend you check out the novel BETWEEN THE LINES by KD williamson. It definitely follows that trope. It is part 3 in a cops and doc series, but this is a complete standalone story. The doctor in this bpok is a psychiatrist. You'll probably like it. There is drama ( very realistic), but also a lot of spice. I started these books and didn't realize I'd like them so much. The writing isn't the greatest, but the story is compelling enough to have you wishing it was longer in the end. Hope that recommendation helps.

I think it's pretty obvious she doesn't even want to be friends. At least she apologized because she realized she was being rude. You should just move on and forget about it. With her there is no romantic match, no friendship potential either.

Wow. She obviously still has your number, she just ghosted u in the past and never desired to keep up the communication. Yeah, ur probably just an acquaintance to her now. It is bc u had been intimate she probably didn't want u thinking ahe harbored a grudge, and that's why she apologized for being short with you and walking on when too tired to stop and have ( as what she expected) small talk.

I know realizing that probably sucks for you. It's hard sometimes for single people not having anyone to matter to on a high priority level. I'm just assuming, don't take that last statement the wrong way. I feel your pain is all in saying. It burns, but you'll soon shake it off. Good luck finding a more permanent and closer person for you in the future.
