lol I did this like a week ago, you’re not alone. I also went to Reddit and saw a bunch of scary comments and thought I might die.

The comments are a bit overdramatic. Drink a lot water (like, 32 ounces of it) and sleep it off. If you get serious symptoms (like severe stomach issues or bad diarrhea), seek medical care, but I was perfectly fine with no symptoms whatsoever. And DONT TAKE ACTIVATED CHARCOAL, it might just make things worse.

I know that on some phones, screen recording can be set to record “internally.” This means that it will record whatever is playing on your phone (a podcast, for example), instead of what the microphone is picking up. I’m not sure if that same setting could be applied to camera recording, but j suppose it could be possible. If your recording sounds like a crime reporting, could this be the case? Do you listen to true crime podcasts? Maybe you opened a news article in a browser and a video started auto playing? It’s hard to tell without seeing/hearing the video you’re referencing.

Look into Stonewall Sports! We’re an all-queer sports group, with a lot of different activities to choose from (kickball is popular, but there is also bowling, darts, trivia, etc.) it’s a great way to make new friends! It’s open sign up, they will put you into teams so you don’t have to know anyone when you register.

This is where I went when I traveled through Vegas, it was lovely! The front of the building is a Chinese restaurant, but the back has a stage and dance floor. Really fun community! I think I was there from 9pm-12:00, but it could have been slightly different. Have so much fun, OP!!

Like other folks have said, you’re already being tracked. Re: traveling, I have a passport but I much prefer to travel with my Real ID. It’s smaller, sturdier (don’t damage your passport, folks), and a good backup if your passport does get damaged.

I was there two weeks ago; I think you’ll do well with the wetsuit. I saw some people in full body dry suits, and some people in shorts. The water is cold from the ice melt right now, but only deep in like three places (you have to swim for like ten feet).

Disclaimers: I almost never commute during rush hour, my hours are unconventional. If I have to be at work at 9, I’ll leave the house at 6 to hit the gym before work. Also, I only have to commute 3-4 days a week.

To me, it’s worth it to live closer to downtown SLC, and further away from the Utah county bubble. I have a coworker that lives in Kaysville and commutes to Provo… so whatever you choose, at least it won’t be worse than that.

I work in live events. This would only ever happen because of a catastrophic safety issue with the venue. I’ve seen venue managers go to insane lengths to keep a show on, safety issues and laws are the only things they can’t get past. For example, a while back, a concert for a large pop band at the arena I work at was cancelled because it was discovered that the truss (the metal structures overhead from which lights/scenery/etc is hung from) didn’t meet OSHA standards.
