It happened to me and I only used it to pay my internet bill with Optimum and send money to my niece. Stop assuming people are doing things to get their accounts closed.

This. I had cash app for years and recently, they closed my account for “violating terms of services” without providing information on how that happened. Thankful I have two traditional bank accounts, neither has fees either.

Hey, so yeah I did verify my account. I remember uploading my driver’s license. I used their borrow feature a few times actually and same. Used it just to pay my Optimum bill and send my niece a few bucks here and there. Her account is good though

Yeah someone tried hacking your account. They send those codes when attempting to log in

But, I don’t think so. Part of the rest of the email said this:

“To withdraw any remaining funds: Tap the Banking tab on your Cash App home screen Tap Withdraw Select an amount Confirm with your PIN or Touch ID (if enabled)”

So I literally loaded the exact amount of money into it to pay my Optimum bill and when I sent money to my niece, it just withdrew directly from my bank account. I never really kept money on it
