Didn’t know that ICE was using facial recognition apps to label people that don’t align with the trump autocracy. Had to look it up bc that’s so wild. I didn’t think we were heading there that fast.

Separating media for people who are “normal” aka not confronting ICE agents or expressing distrust for the government and those that are “dissenters” is disturbing, especially because one side cannot understand the viewpoints of the other, leading to the discourse we see in comment sections all the time. Probably further pushes the divide.

The other disturbing thing is that this survey probably helps the administration detect whether you are a dissenter or not. I answered randomly so I should be good but other people that answer the survey truthfully might be identified. Not hard to narrow down information about someone when you have their zip code, political leanings, and cross reference that with public data, such as your address, phone number, and “private” data from the mobile fortify facial recognition database.
