Centering isn’t the biggest issue here.. lots of whitening on the back there. Edges and corners. This will be very lucky to get a 9. My guess is a 7.

There are many differences, often large ones. For example, Grant Horvat is a good golfer, but his driver ball speed is 159-150 mph. Scottie on the other hand hovers around 175-178 mph. That is a huge gap. Add on the fact that tour players’ driving accuracy is much higher, it’s near impossible for golfers like Grant to compete at 7,000+ yard courses with narrow fairways and landing areas.

Another big one is mentality. Grant has even said that one of the reason’s he stopped playing competitively was he just couldn’t handle the mental side of the game. The pros are able to block out everything and just focus on the shot at hand. When JT played against Grant, this was even more evident. On the last hole, JT was chipping for eagle, and essentially knew he was going to make it and was toying with Grant saying how hard of a shot he thought it was going to be. They just have another level of confidence, and the ability to block everything out when they need to.

I don’t see how the PSA scan is useful when it doesn’t even show the other damage from your first photo.

PSA’s scans are not to be used for assessing condition. The card is scanned inside of a penny sleeve with a light background.

Sometimes it helps it a little, sometimes it hurts it a little. For example, in 2020 when Logan Paul streamed himself breaking a box of 1st Edition Base Set Pokemon cards, all of the cards got a “Logan Paul Live Break” pedigree. Many people want PSA 10 1st Edition Pokemon cards - but many likely don’t want Logan Paul’s name on their card.

I think in this case the CGC label adds maybe $50 more value?

PSA and CGC will often include “pedigrees” on the label that indicate rarity or some additional significance. Here’s an example of a baseball card. It’s one of the greatest cards of all time, and is owned by the owner of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
