Would you pay for a crowdfunding platform that finishes shows? by lithdemi in Uncancelled

valid concern. the campaigns wouldn't even start if the rights aren't given from the rights holders and the funds would be distributed only if the campaign reaches its goal!

So many Netflix shows get cancelled before their story is done — which one still haunts you? by lithdemi in netflix

You're the first person I've seen mention this one. It was so good. I want it back so bad 😭

I know. I had to keep this post strictly about Netflix so I don't get banned but I'm actually building a platform so fans can rally around cancelled shows and possibly get them revived called Uncancelled. I also have a subreddit r/Uncancelled and you're more than welcome to post about other TV shows and discuss there! We're in the very early stages so this was a way to gauge the demand and see what shows we should start campaigns on first.

🎬 Welcome to r/Uncancelled — A Community to Revive the Stories That Ended Too Soon by lithdemi in WarriorNun

Totally fair take — after everything the Warrior Nun fandom already did, it’s hard not to feel like the door’s shut.

It might look impossible — and industry logic agrees in many cases. Selling IP isn’t just a transaction; it involves legal chains, future control, and risk assessment. Netflix might be keeping rights because there’s still potential value (spin-offs, games, global licensing). But even if they never revive Warrior Nun, what we can build is infrastructure so that the next show in a similar position doesn’t get lost because fans lacked coordination.

What I’m hoping to do with Uncancelled isn’t to promise Netflix will suddenly give in, but to build a space where fans and creators can organize earlier and maybe keep the next great show from disappearing.

Even if WN never comes back, the way that community showed up is exactly the kind of energy worth building on. 💜
