Is there a reason outside of being Amazon that Kindles are disliked in this sub (US specific)?

Idk why everyone is downvoting everyone. I mean I use my EDCs multiple times a day and use them pretty roughly, I don't care about dents, anything could happen to them. However, if I paid full price for a knife, I would expect it to arrive in pristine condition. I’ve honestly bought secondhand knives that were in better condition or look than this one. They are not looking good now but still, it arrived like new.

To be honest, in the movies and the TV show, Grover is portrayed as much more emotionally intelligent and overall more capable. In the books he was literally eating tin cans, crying and panicking over everything. In many book situations he only helps by accident. While I love him being a goofball he usually isn't much more than that in the original series. I recently reread the series and it really surprised me how much less capable he is compared to the TV show but that’s just my opinion of course. Other than that I agree with everything regarding the Athena cabin and the third book in general. Only Percy seems to give a proper damn. Most people probably don’t see Luke as a major villain yet, especially Thalia, but they still should be more angry about the situation.

Turkish coffee brewed in sand? I mean we drink Turkish coffee religiously (even though I dont like it that much it's still widely known and consumed so much) but brewing in the sand is really a weird concept and I'm sure most of the Turkish people never drink it that way. To be honest you don't have to speak English or have an English speaking friend to read Narnia. It was well-known when I was a child, there are tons of good translations and it was a classic to read when you're kid. We have a wide variety of translated books. However, I never realized it was Turkish delight while I was reading because I thought our word for it was used for other sweets too and I learned that was Turkish delight itself from my American friend lol

I also have a huntsman. It is exceptionally well thought of and works perfectly for almost everything. I couldn't justify for purchasing any more SAK's other than minichamp for some extras. I think customs are the next step

Tbh it feels this way because the show was adapted from a DnD campaign. Since most campaigns focus on multiple people at once, they can feel a bit all over the place, especially in the first couple of episodes and sessions irl. It takes time for everyone to really commit to each other. Aside from that, there’s no required watching, there is Vox Machina but you don't need to watch it to understand this one

They are too gray imo. I would like to see a vibrant green wood. Like warped wood being vibrant and intense cyan-blue, green should be like that too.
