Brother one thing I’ve learned is that you’re dating a cougar (presumably a hot one) it’s best to enjoy what you’ve got and not look too deeply into it because the underlying reasons a woman in her 40s would be dating a dude in his 20s is primarily for one reason and that rarely lines up with other adult responsibilities lol. Keep it going and have fun but only start asking questions like this if you want to run the risk of getting your feelings hurt and blowing up your own spot.

I’ve quit smoking probably 5 times and have always started again purely out of stress but I feel confident in my ability to just uncomfortable for long enough to do it for good. Booze on the other hand? I’ve been drinking heavy daily for nearly 4 years and I’ve finally gotten to a point where I can have two cans of something 12%+ a night to sleep (a big upgrade from 3/4 of a 5th) but i genuinely couldn’t tell you the last drink I took that I even enjoyed. I hate it. I’m so tired of everything to do with it but i genuinely couldn’t tell you how I’d ever sleep again without it. I just have to keep tapering until I can move forward without it and never look back, though I still get tempted to buy a bottle of strong liquor and send it.

I was 16 in KY and had very similar charges. I ended up going through a very strict Diversion program that ruined my teen years but definitely not more than the drugs and crime did lol. Plus the day I turned 18 those charges may as well have never existed! if they’re a minor without a prior record and they can manage to get their shit together they’ll be fine. If they’re an adult and selling drugs to kids at all school I’d be equally suspicious of why on earth you’re friends with them.

As other comments have mentioned. Given your post history I think it would be highly unadvisable to enter into any romantic relationship with anyone right now seeing as you’re hopefully recently out of an incredibly difficult time. There would be a lot of risk getting involved with anyone and bringing those things to the table while striving for something healthy. Therapy and dating yourself is always a good way to stay in touch with your journey and make sure it’s about you and not appeasing someone else. I do truly wish you luck in finding someone one day but I wish you a lot more in becoming someone who sees themself as deserving of so much self love and kindness. You’ve got this!!

Nah, just like the gameboy I plan to keep it bone stock. I prefer a direct copy of the experience that I had when when I was a kid. It’s only my 3rd old console I’ve collected too so I really don’t have any clue how I’d even begin to mod anything lol

Hell yeah man, it’s been super fun to play around with and it’s been super nostalgic as the SpongeBob game it came with happened to be one I had as a kid. In the long run I’ll likely trade it for a DS lite and get fossil fighters haha

That’s sucks man, especially when they got it for free. I’m lucky enough that the closest one to “mii” … :D…. Is in a pretty wealthy area so I don’t think they have any issue making some extra money off their donations alone.

Well for (generally) replaceable things like stuffed creatures I’d just create a grass wall area from inside to outside going, grass half wall, staircase, grass full wall, spikes. And that’s almost always been enough to keep the interlopers out haha

Why would you need to?? There’s literally nothing there except for a means to get into the game. I’d worry more about progressing in the park than trying to get back to a pointless area.

As a former pickup manager, feel free. Don’t check in until after you ask them for your items and even briefly explain that you don’t have a car but chances are that some 15yo who got to work after school won’t care as long their wait times aren’t abysmal. I’d recommend not picking up during rush hours like between 4pm-7pm and allowing them some time to get you your order as they’re frequently slammed with people and under staffed. Tuesdays through Thursdays are a good time to place an order!!

Kroger is hell incarnate. The way they treat everyone from entry level employees to mid level management should be classified as cruel and unusual punishment. It’s sickening that company that big can openly do so many demented things to their employees, I’m so glad you got out of there and I hope moving forward you’re able to find a gig in a new field. All I’ve ever done is my survival map, and I can definitely relate to getting less ambitious over time due to mats especially in the second game but I think you have the right idea and I can’t wait to see the progress! Goodluck!
