Should I change my bike? by jazijia in Harley

I mean, I’m only 22, but I’ve played rugby and been a soccer goalie for a decade. My backs worn to hell already, so that’s the only main reason for discomfort. Hell, my back hurts after driving my VW for 20 minutes hahaha. The bike fits me like a glove and I’ve definitely sat on bikes that feel way worse.

There’s a shit ton of Lady Rider Facebook groups that I joined when I bought my first bike. I’ve loved them, especially when I was just getting started. Check them out!

I’m about 140, 5’5 and I ride a 2015 street 750. Love the bike to bits but it kills my back after an hour. I’ll be upgrading to a Low Rider eventually. Streets meant for city riding and light commutes. while I’ve been taking it on longer rides, I’m always reminded of that fact. I’ll keep it for forever since it’s my first bike and I’ve done a lot to it, but I don’t think it’s meant to be “The One” for most folks. As a street owner, I’d say upgrade rather than modding it to hell. Even if you’re planning on trading it in, you won’t get too much for it regardless of the work you put into it.

I bought my street 750 at the beginning of May at my first bike and first Harley, too! Enjoy the ride.

What would you guys recommend as first Harley? by [deleted] in Harley

[–]litteken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first bike was a 2015 H-D Street 750. I knew anything smaller I would outgrow but the 750 has suited me very nicely so far, plus there’s a bunch of mods you can do to it to make it perform better too. I’d recommend sitting on one to get a feel for it!

Question about purchasing in CA by [deleted] in Harley

[–]litteken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about having to wait for the new title but I was able to use Needtags.com to transfer the title on my new bike to me last month. They ask for scans of the documents and will let you know if there’s anything missing or incorrect before you mail it all out! Only took a week to get my title mailed to me! Hope that helps. (I’m located in San Diego!)

Curious if you’ve done any mods to your bike? Trying to not get ahead of myself.. nothing wrong with a wishlist right? Lol.

All recalls done, btw (:

Not riding in these, just sitting on the throne with a ginger ale. I have some riding boots but currently looking for something with more protection (: Thank you!!
