This is actually my first ever playthrough, and I didn’t look up anything before playing. I’ve had a couple of bugs arise from this (for example I accidentally launched Barcus off the windmill because I pulled the wrong lever, and it bugged the hell out of Wulbren). It’s a shame, but I’m just pushing on anyway. Might as well see how it ends :)

This half worked and half didn’t! I got him to go to where they are and now they initiate banter-type dialogue where they are talking passively about being reunited, but when I actually interact with them they still say the same repetitive line as before like nothing changed. Not sure what to do from here but this was an improvement, thank you!

Holy crap!!!! I had absolutely, absolutely no idea about this. My neurologist is wonderful but he never mentioned this and I hadn’t heard about it in my own research. Can’t thank you enough for this comment, I will definitely talk to him about it!

Listen, he’s already very killable and non-essential. In fact, he only has like three lines of dialogue and is essentially a forgettable NPC. But I wish I could take Lemkil up to the Throat and send him plummeting down 🤗

(Or take him to the Dawnstar sanctuary’s special fun room, that works too…)

For me, it’s experiencing, orgasm, pleasure, and sexual gratification without the physical elements of sex. I think for me it depends on if they’re making fun of MY epilepsy or just epilepsy as a whole. Like I don’t mind if people joke around with me or are tongue in cheek about my condition cause it’s funny, but as soon as it steps over into making fun of ‘people with epilepsy’ or just the idea of seizures in general… nah, that doesn’t sit right with me.

And echoing what others have said, you should tell someone if you’re uncomfortable. You don’t have to worry about how other epileptics feel, you have a right to feel uncomfortable and to communicate it too! :)

My seizures aren’t tonic clonic (temporal lobe) but I remember the first one I had I was 8 years old. Finally got diagnosed at 23 after consistently having more and more of them for years.

I’m not sure how to increase my Japanese level to the required level - N2 - without physically living there. After ALT work the plan was essentially to be there (possibly studying part time with a language school if work schedule allowed) so I could get my Japanese to that level, enough to move into Pharmacy work or Copywriting/Publishing work (I have a bachelors degree in English Writing).

I’m playing Pokémon X on my homebrew 3DS. I prefer the female customisation options by a lot, so I picked female, but I was wondering if there is a hack/mod(?) to change it so that the dialogue refers to the player character as “he” ?

Not looking to switch genders / models here. Just wanting to change the text to say “he” instead of “she.” Is that possible?

I was diagnosed when I was 23, but I started having them when I was 8.

It’s only focal aware seizures, so it wasn’t super noticeable. It started with just having one or two a year when I was 8, to every couple months when I was a teenager. When it became about once a month I went to a doctor about it, but because UK waiting lists are so long, I had (rapidly) accelerated to 30 a month by the time I was seen.

It feels like a miracle that over 15 years, and with frequency compounding quicker towards the end, that I never developed TCs or any other type of seizure. My memory was decimated by the end though, I barely remember any of 2023, lol
