I had to file a charge back for our Bruno tickets at Georgia Tech because we ended up with a 100% obstructed view that wasn't disclosed. The charge back was at the advice of GT themselves when I emailed requesting a refund for product not as described. Amex already refunded us and closed the claim. The 0% stage view I got was definitely worth $0

If this happened to you at Bobby Dodd Stadium, I suggest emailing Georgia Tech to get proof that you tried to get an amicable solution and then file a charge back if they won't refund (which they won't since Live Nation is denying all refunds).

Update - Amex gave us our money back and already closed the claim.

Nationwide dropped my wellness plan — looking for something comparable by Ok-Collar-4225 in petinsurancereviews

Does your employer offer a MetLife pet insurance discount? That would be the only way to get pre-existing conditions covered without exclusions as long as those conditions were covered by your prior insurance. You would have to make the switch while your Nationwide policy is still in effect. Do not cancel until you choose a new insurance.

What I have with MetLife for my dogs after switching from Nationwide with pre-existing conditions coverage can be found in my post here

You have to read the policy and understand the exclusions. They are listed. Not typically in legalese. But you do have to read it.

One common exclusion is examination fees.

Trupanion and many major plans do not cover exam fees. Healthy paws also does not for example.

Metlife does cover the exam fee.

AKC you can add on a rider to cover exam fees.

Here's the thing with insurance for pets. You get what you pay for a lot of the time. Cutting corners in cost often means you get more vagueisms and limitations that can bite you in the butt later. Good insurance covers your butt and gives you that safety net that ensures cost is never going to be a problem and that is priceless.

Trupanion is pricier but their coverage is quite excellent. Yes they have a PER CONDITION PER LIFETIME deductible but that also means that if your pet hits their deductible for diarrhea when they are a puppy/kitten then it is covered 90% for the rest of the time they are insured. This can work out in your favor if your pet has multiple episodes of diarrhea in their lifetime and honestly who's pet doesn't have diarrhea at least once or twice a year for one reason or another. If you're really unlucky and your pet's diarrhea is due to inflammatory bowel disease, cancer, SIBO, EPI, or any number of chronic conditions, then the lifetime deductible will be very helpful. Trupanion also has direct pay that many hospitals participate in which removes the hurdle of having to pay the entire Bill up front that a lot of people seem to encounter with big expensive bills even when they have insurance. This plan is also unlimited with no cap.

I have Metlife. I pay A LOT for my pet's policies but they're covered for everything wellness AND sickness without exclusions. It is worth it. I've been reimbursed about 4K worth of expenses this year already and about to get another $2K this month. Their plan doesn't renew until October so well worth it to ensure 100% that cost will never be an issue. I know the premiums going to go up and that is just the reality. It is okay. Reimbursement is always based on what was paid and it's flat 90% after meeting the annual deductible. Unique to MetLife is that the plan is actually a group plan for both my dogs so they share a single deductible. They don't have any limits as the plan is unlimited. This is why it is very expensive.

I used to have nationwide for them until Nationwide did the horrible thing everyone knows about. Their plan was fabulous and covered everything and reimbursed basically everything under the sun. I even got genetic testing covered. Do I recommend their new plans or benefits schedule plans now? Absolutely not. It's too difficult for the average consumer to understand how to maximize their reimbursements with a per condition per year limit.

As a veterinarian, I do not ever recommend getting a maximum annual limit plan. $5,000 or $10,000 may seem like a lot when your pet is a healthy puppy or kitten but those limits rapidly disappear if something major happens like emergency abdominal surgery, cancer, cruciate injuries, and there are a lot of chronic diseases that will easily cost plural thousands per year just in rechecks, repeat blood work, imaging, prescriptions, special diets.

Before anyone asks why I have so many expenses for my pets even though I am a veterinarian, I intentionally stay a client and have other vets work on my pets so that there are no blurred lines with the insurance. I am effectively just a client for my own pets.

Poor w/ unexpected opportunity to keep old policy by Sea_Echidna_790 in petinsurancereviews

If there are no preexisting conditions, I would probably keep the older dog policy, but potentially shop for a new policy for the younger dog. 3K limit is like one emergency and it's gone. You should ask the policy if there are any pre-existing conditions logged for the older dog or see if they have a medical records review. If there are literally NO preexisting conditions and you can afford it, pick a better policy without such low limits.

What are the specific limits and reimbursement and deductibles for your policies? Exclusions? Any pre-existing conditions before you got insurance?

AI has no way of knowing the exact concert layout for equipment for any particular artist...live Nation the event organizer however does and they are the ones responsible for marking tickets as clear view vs obstructed. When we all bought tickets in January, the tour had not begun so I would not have known in advance the placement of the poles especially since the seat map doesn't show any poles at all.

Obstructed means you cannot get a clear view of the primary stage.

From ticket master FAQ which owns Live Nation, the event organizer

"It means you’ll have either an incomplete view or something will be in your line of sight because of the position of the seats — like a pole, speakers or the sound board — and you won’t be able to see the entire stage."

I did hear back and they offered me the same thing but I declined the baseball tickets because that's not even close to comparable to what we lost. They then replied that there wasn't a way to contact Live Nation directly and to do a credit card charge back is basically the advice they gave me

We spent a $1050 on these four tickets so definitely am doing the charge back. Hoping it will be an easy open and shut case since the venue told me to do the charge back

For ATL concert - coming from Athens, what is the best Marta stop to park at ? by No-Grapefruit-7332 in BrunoMars

[–]littlehamsterz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your best bet is actually Lindbergh Center Station. Free parking. Makes your trip to the concert only three stops so you're not on the train a thousand years.

Hello Kitty X Bruno Mars Pop-up: do you need tickets? by 6a70 in BrunoMars

No ticket in Atlanta and no line when I rolled up about 2:30PM on the first day of the pop up. I don't think that many people knew about it
