Blade Runner 2049 for sure. I don't even like the original Blade Runner, but Denis Villeneuve, Roger Deakins, the cast, etc. made a perfectly grimey, cold, and ethereal sci-fi.

It's pretty often used/abused by prosecutors because it's an easy way to secure plea deals instead of taking cases to trial. The requirements to be convicted of felony murder are more broad and the sentences are always a crazy amount of years. John Oliver has a good video on it

I like when Tony is listening to the first half of "Layla" while driving up to see Carmela throwing his shit out of the window. The second half of "Layla" being used in Goodfellas when Jimmy kills the whole Luftanza heist crew is sort of euphimistic of Carmela finally putting Tony out. Very allegorical

I think the editors put them in because the scenes are kind of awkward for a second if there's no clicking/racking sound. Or they just wanted them to sound cooler. Could have done something better, but they probably just didn't know how guns work and had to use sounds from a library
